Apple iPhone - Why are they costly?

Whenever people here the cost of Apple Phone or iPhone, it’s obvious that they think- “Why is the cost of this phone very high??” The cost of almost all mobiles of Apple Company is very high. Many people who dream of buying these phones will set back after knowing its high cost. After that, people think- why to spend so much money on these mobile phones. People are very curious to know: Why are Apple phones costly when compared to other brand mobiles????


The answer to the above question is defined in the below points:

1.    There are many differences in between Android smartphones and Apple phones. The most important one among them is: Apple Company will manufacture their own branded hardware components required for their phones and also the software. One of the biggest competitors for Apple phones is Samsung Company. Samsung Company will manufacture mobiles but it is dependent on Google Company’s android operating system for its working. But by using its own operating system, Apple Company has become fully independent. That’s why naturally the cost of Apple phone is more.

2.    Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Company always strives to introduce new features in Apple phones and attract the customers. The main moto of Apple Company is not to compromise in its quality. Before releasing any new brand iPhone to the market, Apple Company will introduce one or the other new features in its phones. That’s the reason why they attract more customers than other mobile brands. Even now, Apple Company is following the procedure of releasing the new brand Apple phones to the market, with one or the other special and new features.


3.    In order to introduce new features in its phones, Apple Company is always involved in research. For this purpose, they have opened their research and development center in California, America. Also they are investing more money on R & D when compared to other departments. They are recruiting efficient technical experts for their R & D department and providing huge amount of salary for them. In order to compromise this cost, they have increased the cost of phones. This may also be the reason of increased cost of iPhone.

4.    It is most important for any company to market their product after its production. Apart from marketing, campaigning the product is also equally important. Apple Company always gives more prominence for campaigning and advertising its phones. They strive a lot to reach the customers by giving different kind of advertisements.  They are investing crores and crores for advertisements. This cost is also included along with other costs and will be charged from the customers!!!!


5.    Smartphones which works based on Android operating system is easy to hack. Using such malware, hackers can steal user’s private information. But in case of Apple phones, it is very very difficult to hack the user’s private information (using such mobile malware). Apple Company has always proved that they are trustworthy in securing customers private information.
There are very less people who buy iPhone when compared to other smartphones. Hence hackers will concentrate on smartphones with Android operating system. These hackers will develop malware keeping android operated smartphones in their mind and not the Apple phones. Hence, Apple phones are more trustworthy in keeping the customer’s private information secure when compared to other brand smartphones.
