Brushless Make-up device: Future of Skin Care

We all have heard about the most famous saying from Bobbi Brown - “I believe all women are pretty without makeup; but with the right makeup can be pretty powerful.” Almost all women in the world want to look more attractive than what they are!!! Women wear makeup to hide their imperfections like acne scars, blemishes and skin tone discoloration. Also, makeup will enhance the way we look and make us feel more confident.

As per many research, wearing concealer/foundation masks has a biggest impact in covering most of the acne scars and skin tone discoloration. If we want to get the full benefit of wearing the makeup, the most important thing is that the skin tone should be even. Hence there is a need of a device which makes the skin tone even.

Procter and Gamble showcased the new skincare device “Opte Precision Skin Care System” at CES 2019. This hand-held device applies the make-up and serum to the face with pin-point accuracy.

This device works similar to the thermal ink-jet printer. The device has a tiny camera which can see 3-times more pigmentation than the human eye. The device uses blue LED scanning lights to enhance the contrast of the skin, thereby helping the camera to scan the face at 200 frames per second and detects the dark spots on the skin like sunspots, blemishes, Freckles or moles.

The device also has 120 thermal inkjet nozzles inside the wand which deposit 1000 Pico liter droplets (1 billionth of a liter) of mineral pigment or moisturizer or spot-lightening skincare serum. Through this, the device will be able to apply precise amount of makeup to cover each spot or blemish and hence covering each tiny spot with pin point accuracy.

This device is not released to market yet. If this device is released to market, the skincare and makeup could be brush-less in future. Women all around the world can make use of this device - to enhance their natural beauty and to appear more likeable, trustworthy and competent.

In a world where high end makeup isn’t easily accessible, drugstore brands come to the rescue. One such brand to grace us with their existence is L.A. Girl. Whether it’s their concealers, foundations, or palettes – they work pretty well, considering their price points. Because let’s be honest, not all of us can afford Sephora pieces. And it’s nothing to be ashamed of. I pick up a lot of high end products, but if there’s a drugstore option that works, I don’t pass it on.
