Job which has huge demand in 2019: Cloud Engineers

Cloud engineers are the IT professionals who are responsible for technological duties associated with cloud computing which includes design, planning, management, maintenance and support.
Cloud engineers are in great demand this year (2019) because nearly all companies are moving some workloads to the cloud. From couple of years, many companies are moving their critical business processes and applications to public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructures. Upgrading or designing the new environments will be the first step, which most of the companies will follow. Here comes the need to recruit the specialists with cloud experience.


The tasks performed by the cloud engineers include- build, maintain and link the existing on-premise infrastructure model to cloud services. In order to perform the above said task, these professionals should have a mix of technical skills, business knowledge and experience with at least one of the major cloud providers – Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

Eligibility to become a Cloud Engineer:

1.    Should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

2.  Should have good programming skills in the languages like Java, Angular JS, C++ and Python.
3.  Should have knowledge on tech tools and platforms like SQL, Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, Kubernetes, Redshift, etc…
4.    Skills such as Linux, Docker and DevOps will be the add-on.
